This latest iPad beef isn't about the device's frequently mocked name or any surrounding trademark concerns; rather, it's about the iPad's apparent lack of Flash support. Product demos and statements from Adobe suggest the device is not Flash-friendly -- but Apple's promotional materials paint a very different picture.

(UPDATE 1/30: As of Saturday morning, presto-change-o: The Flash is gone. See Apple Pulls Flash Content From iPad Promos)

Apparently Apple wanted to paint a Flash friendly picture of the iPad and then pulled the misleading ads.  Anyone know if this is true or is this incorrect?  PC World has their take on it but I haven't seen this anywhere else.

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
