That's a cool app, but do you think it's a bit of a stretch to call it AugR? I mean, it's really a directional locator and the camera jazz is more for effect than being evaluated - unless I'm missing something...

technically it is.

its taking real world view, and real time, overlaying info on it.
sure its simple, and they are just using LOC/DIR/TILT info to overlay, but there is no rule that says AugR must use camera input to derive the location/thing for the info.

Of course the first true one, would be an app that uses the camera input to determine the info to display. Like pointing a camera at a street sign in japan, and it displays the sign in english for you.
