It's a subtle transition, is it not? I love my iPhone, I am capable of giving some of my power to it to keep it alive.
It controls already and we don't know it.

Digital Angel was doing this with a technology called BioThermal. It's a "cool" process that works like a micro water power plant, in a sense. When the water travels say with waves or tides to one area or another, giant wheels turn to produce power. In this case when heat transfers from your body (presumably warmer than the air) to the device the movement of this heat is leveraged to produce small amounts of power that recharges the battery. The heat transference is harnessed like a wheel harnesses water or air.
Creepy yet cool IMO.

holy shit. Seems like the military could really make use of this with an entire suit of thermoelectric material in order to supply power for battlefield electronics.
oh shit. now your gonna have to get a govt bracelet to get food stamps and free stuff! AHAHAH soon obama will be harvesting electricity from us... herding us into gigantic power plants clocking in, eating salty foods laced with copper and acid ROFLMAO ... so what do you do?? im in the service... what is your specialty... uh.. not dying and eating electrolyte pills, SIR!

@ Nuts - yeah man, that's a decent notion. A sort of thermal liposuction process. "The more I talk on the phone, the skinnier I gets!"

have you ever noticed how some people get near electronics or computers and they just i guess, don't have the 'computer kavorka' or something and the shit just doesnt work until they get it out of their head? Sometimes these same people will make lights go out... makes me wonder if some people have some sort of multi life electro bio magnetic resonance that just sort of 4-D Electromagnetically Pulses the shit thats around them.
I have a friend who can lay hands on your motor and it will run but for some reason when he picks up ANY computer or laptop or device ive ever owned all the shit stops responding... literally.

DEFINITELY notice this. myself just standing in the same room as a computer is oftentimes enough to cause it to quit tormenting it's user on the spot.

Well, for an ex-con like you RC that might be satisfactory. We of the more gently-played asses will need something a bit more delicate

I'm sure you are right.
It most certainly be a custom-grown potato in the shape of an apple, with some form of utterly proprietary and expensive metal leads that magnetically disconnect in the event of flatulence or an overly aggressive evacuation.
I'll bet the marketing videos will be stunning.
