I just heard something hilarious but can't prove it.  A co-worker at my company knows someone who works at Apple and explained Steve Jobs' comments on their recent market cap news where they had finally edged out Microsoft.  Apparently Steve explained the news dryly to all employees and said something to this effect:

"As you may already know, Apple has surpassed Microsoft in terms of market cap.  This is great news for us.  The reason this happened is because of our tremendously successful recent product launch.  Therefore, get back to work."

That would fit with his image in emails as well. Classic, verbose full email answers like, "Nope." "Yes." and "Not true. Just wait." are becoming the stuff of Onionesque dialogue. I'd imagine that's exactly how he said it. Funny thing, I wonder if only WE see the humor and he was serious...  Shocked

It is now believed, that after having lived in one compound with 3 wives and never leaving the house for 5 years, Bin Laden called the U.S. Navy Seals himself.
