Is it usable on your primary work machine?  Is it as slow as some people claim it to be?  Any nasty bugs you've come across?

My thoughts exactly.  But I also worry about data security in the event of laptop theft...  All my backups are encrypted but there would be some juicy info for a thief on my computer.
